Big news has come out about the Dean Premier League franchise Rajasthan Royals. In fact, American football (NFL) legend Larry Fitzgerald and two-time Olympic gold medalist basketball player Chris Paul have joined Rajasthan Royals as new investors.
Apart from both, NFL star Calvin Beacham is also a partial investor in this IPL franchise. This team is owned by ‘Emerging Media Ventures’ controlled by Manoj Badale.
A release issued by Rajasthan Royals said, “Rajasthan Royals has attracted investment from elite American athletes Chris Paul, Larry Fitzgerald, and Calvin Beacham. All three have joined the Rajasthan-based franchise as investors.
On the other hand, Fitzgerald said, ‘I like the idea of creating a professional franchise with a clear social purpose. India has a passionate sports culture and I am excited to invest in one of the most interested teams in the country. Chris Paul, former president of the National Basketball Players Association, is also very excited to join the Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan is currently at number three in the points table
