The opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup took place at the Al Bayt Stadium in Doha, which has a capacity of about 60,000 spectators. South Korean rock band BTS performed in the opening ceremony, and Jungkook, one of the seven members of that band, gave a spectacular performance. A total of 32 teams, including the current champion France, are participating in the FIFA World Cup, which lasts for about a month. There are eight groups of four teams each made up of these teams. A total of 16 teams will reach the quarterfinals through the group stage, after which the knockout matches will begin. The tournament will end with the final match, which will be held on December 18.
