On the second day, on the rising date of Ashtami date, Shri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated by Vaishnava monks. Whether fasting and worshiping Shri Krishna Janmashtami is done on 18th August or 19th August, do not do this work even by forgetting during Janmashtami fast, otherwise, a lot of damage can be done, for which you will have to repent for the rest of your life.

Do not do this work on Janmashtami

Tulsi leaves should not be broken on the day of the Shri Krishna Janmashtami fast. To offer to Lord Krishna during Janmashtami Puja, tulsi leaves should be plucked a day before.

Even if you are not keeping a fast on the day of Janmashtami fast, you should not eat rice.

On the day of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, garlic, and onion should not be consumed in the food. On this day even after forgetting meat and liquor should not be consumed.

On the day of Janmashtami, do not disturb even after forgetting the cow and the calf, otherwise, Lord Krishna will get angry.

One should not disrespect or insult anyone even after forgetting on the day of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. It is a religious belief that insulting any poor person on this day can anger Shri Krishna and he will also have to bear his wrath.
