In the FIFA World Cup 2022, the match between Germany and Spain ended in a 1-1 draw. Due to this draw, the way to go to the next round has become a bit difficult for the champion of Germany. In the FIFA World Cup 2022, now the road for Germany to go to reach the next round has become difficult. Germany and 2010 champion team Spain ended in a 1-1 draw in the Group-E match played at the Al Bayt Stadium late on Sunday (November 27). The special thing is that in the match both the goals were scored by the substitute players.

Alvaro Morata scored for Spain and Niklas Fulkrug scored for Germany.In the last group match the four-time champion Germany will have to beat Costa Rica to reach next round. Also it has to be expected that Spain will defeats Japan if any miracle happens.

No goals scored in the first half

The game started with both sides playing with full energy of attacking. Spain dominated the ball but Germany’s team looked much dangerous in the counter attack. Spain’s Dani Olmo came close to scoring in the seventh minute itself, but German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer broke hopes by making an excellent save.

In the 33rd minute, Ferran Torres got a chance to score but he sent the ball outside the crossbar. On the other hand, Antonio Rudiger sent the ball to the goalpost through a header, but with the help of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), that goal was declared off-side. As the result, after the first half, both the teams were tied at 0-0.

Spain controlled the play at this point, forcing Germany to counterattack. Spain’s perseverance finally paid off as Alvaro Morata scored in the 62nd minute to give the squad a 1-0. German coach Hansi Flick sent off Werder Bremen’s Niklas Fulkrug after trailing by a goal. Fulcrug did not disappoint his team and made the score 1-1 by scoring Musiala’s pass in the 83rd minute. Following this, neither team was able to score, and the game ended in a tie.
