Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English.

Maxis and Nokia Forge Deeper Ties for Next-Gen Connectivity Solutions
Maxis recently selected Nokia as its key partner to build part of its 5G Core ecosystem to meet future connectivity requirements, expanding on existing collaboration and investing more heavily into next-gen connectivity solutions.
Maxis Nokia collaboration
As part of their collaboration, Maxis will work closely with Nokia on exploring innovative new technologies to bolster Maxis networks further and increase security and reliability, including quantum-safe optical networking which protects against attacks by both classical computers as well as quantum computers.
Both companies will also explore innovations for providing cost-efficient and secure connectivity across cloud environments to bolster network security.
Maxis partnership with Nokia
Maxis recently chose Nokia as its key partner to build out part of its 5G Core ecosystem to meet future connectivity demands, using cloud-native solutions that enable Maxis to utilize 5G capabilities fully.
“Maxis looks forward to close collaboration to create innovation across our network ecosystem and 5G offerings that meet customers’ growing need for fast, secure and reliable connectivity,” stated Goh Seow Eng, the Chief Executive Officer of Maxis.
Maxis recently boasted of successfully conducting what they claim is Southeast Asia’s first 5G Advanced technology trial alongside Chinese vendor Huawei.
Maxis highlighted that their 5G-Advanced trial included a live speed test to demonstrate its capabilities of reaching ultrafast peak speeds of 8Gbps, promising 10 times improvements over current 5G networks in terms of speeds, connected devices, and latency compared to current 5G networks according to Maxis’ claims.
Maxis and Nokia connectivity upgrades
Demo booths featured interactive applications of this technology, such as low-latency live streaming of various Kuala Lumpur city center views and 3D live content streaming, as well as immersive augmented reality (AR) experiences.
Maxis noted the capabilities of 5G Advanced as being essential in supporting digitalization, automation, and the Internet of Things (IoT) across several sectors. Maxis highlighted these advanced capabilities can aid the digital upgrade of industries, including high-end manufacturing, automotive, and smart transportation, as well as state-of-the-art visual communication through 3D and extended reality (XR) applications. In addition, 5G-Advanced will facilitate affordable IoT solutions development; added the carrier.
Next-gen connectivity solutions
Malaysia had previously indicated it would transition to dual 5G networks once DNB achieved 80% coverage across populated areas – something it accomplished before year-end.
All telcos in Malaysia currently provide 5G services using DNB’s network infrastructure.
Malaysia’s government recently confirmed that a special committee charged with overseeing 5G deployment was working towards producing a Cabinet memorandum soon to decide if additional 5G networks are acceptable in Malaysia.

Google Pixel 8 Review: A Comprehensive Look
The Google Pixel 8 has hit the Indian market with a price tag of Rs. 75,999 for the 128GB variant, marking the latest addition to the October tradition of unveiling new Google Pixel phones. As an avid Pixel user since the Pixel 3, I’ve been eager to explore the latest offering from Google, known for its remarkable camera and clean software experience.
Google Pixel 8 Review
Price Update
Let’s start with the price. The 128GB Pixel 8 is priced at Rs. 75,999, witnessing a significant bump from the Pixel 7’s launch price of Rs. 59,999. There’s also a 256GB variant available at Rs. 82,999. This places the Pixel 8 in the higher price range, comparable to the iPhone 15. The question arises: Are the new upgrades worth the price hike?
Design and Display
The Pixel 8’s look is largely similar to that of its predecessor, the Pixel 7. The device is now smaller and more comfortable to hold thanks to the minor adjustments. The glass back and matte aluminum frame remain, with slight modifications to the curvature of the rear glass panel. The front of the Pixel 8 boasts more uniform side bezels, albeit not entirely consistent. The 6.2-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate is a standout feature, offering an upgrade from the Pixel 7’s 90Hz panel.
Performance and Software
The Pixel 8, equipped with the Tensor G3 SoC, doesn’t aim to be the fastest in benchmarks but delivers a smooth daily user experience. Google’s emphasis on AI and software optimization shines through, ensuring seamless navigation and functionality. The clean Android software, a hallmark of Pixel devices, receives additional exclusive features like the Now Playing music detection and various enhancements with Android 14. New AI additions, such as Audio Eraser, Best Take, and Magic Editor, bring exciting capabilities to the Pixel 8’s camera system.
Battery Life
The Pixel 8 has a slightly bigger 4,575mAh battery than the Pixel 7. Real-world performance, however, does not demonstrate a notable improvement. With regular usage, the phone lasts more than a day, but heavy activities like gaming can lead to minor heating issues. The introduction of 27W fast charging support is a welcome addition, offering faster charging times.
Cameras
Pixel phones are renowned for their exceptional cameras, and the Pixel 8 continues this legacy. The 50-megapixel primary rear camera, with an improved aperture lens and features like Dual Exposure, delivers outstanding results. The ultra-wide 12-megapixel sensor now includes autofocus and a Macro mode. The redesigned Camera app offers a dedicated Video and Photo mode, though some users may find the relocation of certain sliders less convenient.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the Google Pixel 8 maintains the high standards set by its predecessors. The design tweaks, display enhancements, powerful camera system, and clean software experience make it a strong contender in the premium smartphone segment. The price increase may raise eyebrows, but for Pixel enthusiasts and those valuing top-tier camera performance, the Pixel 8 remains an attractive choice in the market.
