Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) by 3 wickets on the basis of the blast of former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Chennai beat the Mumbai team by 3 wickets
In the match, Chennai team captain Ravindra Jadeja won the toss and decided to bowl first. After this, the Mumbai team scored 155 runs for 7 wickets. Tilak Verma made 51 runs in 43 balls and Suryakumar Yadav made 32 runs in 21 balls. In reply, the Chennai team also scored 156 runs losing 7 wickets, and won the match by 3 wickets. Ambati Rayudu made 40 runs in 35 balls and Robin Uthappa made 30 runs in 25 balls.
