The performance of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been disappointing. In the match held on Sunday, CSK lost to Gujarat Titans (GT) by three wickets. This was the fifth defeat of the Ravindra Jadeja-led side in six matches and they remain at the ninth position in the points table.

Chris Jordan came out as a villain in Chennai’s defeat against Gujarat. English fast bowler Jordan proved to be very expensive in this match and he also did the last over of the match. In that last over, Gujarat had to score 13 runs to win. Jordan did not give any runs on the first two balls, but on the third ball, David Miller hit a six.

Miller is caught out but…

Now seven runs were to be scored in three balls and the match had become very exciting. In an attempt to play a big shot on the next ball, Miller got caught at short third man. But despite this, Miller was not out because Jordan’s full toss ball was thrown above the waist and the umpire declared it a no-ball. This mistake of Jordan wrote the script for Chennai’s defeat in the match.
