The big news is that the famous M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru has officially received permission from the government of Karnataka to host IPL 2026 matches.

The final approval was given after discussions with Karnataka’s Home Minister G. Parameshwara, as the stadium is ready to welcome thousands of fans for the five home matches of this season of RCB.
