BCCI secretary Jay Shah has told news agency ANI that the IPL 2022 playoffs will be held in Kolkata and Ahmedabad. The mega final will be played on May 29 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, where Qualifier 2 is also to be held. Apart from this, Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will be held at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, which will be held on 24-25 May.

IPL 2022 Playoff Schedule

24 May 2022 – Qualifier 1, Kolkata

25 May 2022 – Eliminator, Kolkata

27 May 2022 – Qualifier 2, Ahmedabad

29 May 2022- Final, Ahmedabad

Apart from this, Jay Shah has informed us that the Women’s T20 Challenge is also starting again this year, which is to be held in Pune. Earlier there was information that it will be in Lucknow, but now its venue has been changed. This tournament will run from 23 to 26 May, while the final will be held on 28 May.

Let us tell you that the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is the largest cricket stadium in the world, where there is a seating arrangement of more than one lakh people. The league matches of IPL are to be played till May 22, after which the playoffs will start.
